BASIC SCIENCES

I - Basic Gynecology:

1- Anatomy:

Anatomy is the corner stone of our surgeries and unfortunately surgical anatomy needs some additions to the anatomy that you study in anatomy books, this is what you will find in the anatomy lectures delineate the important surgical landmarks such as the retro-peritoneal avascular spaces, the lateral pelvic wall landmarks when performing pelvic lymphadenectomy where exactly should your dissection stop. The perineum and its relation to the pelvic spaces and imaginary planes are well explained.
